Means Group is a creative land solutions company. We’re a full-service construction management company and construction consulting firm founded in 1998 by Eric Means. Since our inception, Means Group has strived to create and optimize capital and assets that improve the physical landscape we live in.

Eric J. Means, CEO
Since 1998, Eric J Means, has successfully spurred over a half of billion dollars in transformational economic development—fast forwarding to today to become an up and coming game changing leader in the industry.
As President, Means Group and its affiliates have completed many transformational projects that are revered as gutsy and ahead of the curve. Current examples are the Woodward Garden Development, The Element Detroit at the Metropolitan Building, and the first standalone, for sell developments, within the CBD, over the last 20 years in the Residences @ Ashton Detroit Condominiums.
While serving in the United States Navy, Means received his degree in engineering from the University of Florida. In 1996, Means was certified as a licensed residential builder and continued his advancement to pursue PMP certification and a MIB to round out his skill sets.
Means currently continues his successes in urban areas around the country with a heavy emphasis on community place making, asset bolstering, dwelling preservation, and creative land solutions.
