A 2,400 SF design center operated in conjunction with University of Michigan. This award winning concept named in honor of the late Alfred A. Taubmann. Suite entry on Seldon Avenue. Developed as an essential part of the diversity required to complete the Woodward Garden Project planned development. The existing structure has been retained and incorporated into the final design, design elements retained and incorporated include existing ceilings joist, deck, structural steel and cross member bracing have been finished in Michigan Blue. The partitions surrounding the support areas for the classroom have been finished in Michigan Maize. The open classroom concept enables better communication between high school students, considering the School of Architecture as their field of endeavor, and teachers which will allow all aspects of the architectural field, both construction and design elements, to be explored.
